Abhayarishtam By Santhigram Kerala Ayurveda Inc., Wellness Center Canada

Abhayarishtam is a potent ayurvedic concoction and laxative used to treat a myriad of ailments, including hemorrhoids and constipation. Abhayarishtam is known as the “king of medicine” in Ayurveda. It is an Ayurveda fermented product with Terminalia chebula as the main ingredient. As experts that manufacture the traditional liquid preparation, Santhigram Kerala Ayurveda Inc wants to provide you with an ayurvedic remedy to enhance the workings of your body. This is why we have written down this blog, explaining the benefits and workings of our product Abhayarishtam.

‘Abhaya’ or Terminalia chebula is one of ‘Triphala,’ the group of three berries indispensable in the manufacture of Ayurvedic medicines. The term ‘Abhaya’ means ‘that which gives refuge.’ True to its name, the drug gives the user refuge from a horde of diseases arising from a weak ‘Jatharagni’ (bioenergy present in the stomach and duodenum). As an extremely beneficial treatment, Abhayarishtam is used for Vahni Sandeepana, which means it improves digestion strength and helps with enhancing the healing abilities of the body.

It is also very helpful in dealing with:

Arshas (Bleeding and non-bleeding hemorrhoids)
Being a powerful laxative, this concoction is extensively used for preventing and treating bleeding and non-bleeding hemorrhoids. It softens the stool and facilitates easy passage of the stool from the intestines. It also reduces the strain on the lower portion of the intestines, thus preventing anal fissure, bleeding, or protrusion of a mass from the anus. It also improves the strength of the intestines and helps in cleansing the colon.

Udara (Abdominal disorders associated with bloating and ascites)
The ayurvedic herbal concoction is extremely beneficial for treating the underlying factors that lead to ascites. It protects the liver from the damage caused by overconsumption of alcohol, prevents congestion of the blood vessels in the abdomen, and restricts the formation of fatty liver, thus reducing the risks of liver cirrhosis which in turn lead to ascites.

Varcho Vibandha (Constipation)
Ayurveda strongly suggests the use of this concoction to treat constipation. It increases the secretion of bile by the liver, which in turn acts on the peristalsis movement of the intestines and liver, thereby allowing for a smooth fecal passage from the large intestine. It also plays an important role in minimalizing mucous and excess fat content in the stools and preventing them from sticking to the intestinal walls, thereby allowing easy movement.

Mutra Vibandha (Difficulty in urination)
This herbal remedy plays a key role in preventing and treating urinary distension, urinary incontinence, renal stones, and painful urination. The concoction’s potent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties prevent bacterial infections in the urinary tract and reduce inflammation and pain while urinating.
